Space Camp



If you ever wanted to “Train Like An Astronaut”, you can apply to be selected as a candidate, to attend the GCAA sponsored Space Camp Program, located at the U.S. SPACE & ROCKET CENTER  in Huntsville, Alabama. Space Camp is a 6 Day, 5 Night residential camp, usually held from May – Sept every year. The GCAA pays for all Camp costs including tuition, meals, travel and most other expenses.

Program Goals:

Open to 6th – 11th Graders to attend Offer STEM Outreach Activity Encourage STEM career pipeline Foster Peer Mentoring opportunities Build Leadership, Team Work and Reinforce Decision Making – Soft Skills

Advanced Space Academy (age 15-18)
Space Camp (age 9-14)
Aviation Challenge III (age 9-18)
Robotics Camp (age 9-14)
Cyber Camp (age 15-18)
